This Tuesday takes us to Thailand to spend an afternoon with an Alfa enthusiast living far from the source of the Italian marque’s classic heroes. Chong Soo Ong moved from his home in Malaysia to the country across the northern border, but it wasn’t until his second year there that he even saw an Alfa Romeo. With the help of a friend he found his own, restored it, and has been enjoying it for a decade since. In that time he’s made a lot of new friends thanks to his passion, many of whom have purchased and restored vintage Alfas of their own.
