201-HP 2021 Hyundai Elantra N-Line — Looks More Aggressive & Manual Gearbox. The 2021 Hyundai Elantra sedan will soon be available in a sporty N Line trim, offering up performance-inspired looks and a punchy 201-horsepower engine.

Hyundai Elantra N Line models will be easily distinguished from standard versions of the compact four-door thanks to its aggressive front fascia, which integrates larger intakes and a different grille with an N Line badge. The sedan also has side skirts, a rear diffuser, a small rear spoiler, a chrome dual exhaust tip and sporty-looking 18-inch alloy wheels.

Power comes from a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine, which produces 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The engine sends drive to the front wheels through a standard six-speed manual transmission, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic also available as an option.

Hyundai says its engineers “implemented several mechanical improvements to Elantra’s suspension to increase stiffness for a gripping performance,” but refrained from getting into any specifics. All N Line models also get larger front brake rotors for slightly improved braking performance.

The interior also gets a slight makeover thanks to a leather-wrapped perforated N Line steering wheel, N sport seats with leather bolsters, a metal-accented gearshift lever and sport alloy pedals. Models equipped with the seven-speed automatic also get steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.Like most modern Hyundai vehicles, the Elantra N Line will come with a wide array of safety features, as well, including Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Avoidance, Rear Cross Traffic Avoidance Assist and more. All models will come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2021 Elantra N-Line will arrive in dealers in December starting at around $27,000.
