2019 Chevrolet Blazer RS – The new mid-size SUV Style and Sporty. There are several available trims, including the sporty looking RS and more luxurious Premier.
The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer will arrive at dealers in early January 2019 for a base L price of $29,995 with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to $46,795 for an all-wheel-drive Premier model with a 3.6-liter V-6 and the sporty Blazer RS ($41,795) .
It marks a return for the rugged nameplate to the market, but the new one makes the switch from the previous body-on-frame chassis to a unibody setup. It’ll sit between the Traverse and Equinox in the Bowtie’s SUV lineup.
The Blazer comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 193 horsepower (144 kilowatts) and 188 pound-feet (255 Newton-meters). Buyers can upgrade to a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 hp (227 kW) and 269 lb-ft (365 Nm). Both mills come with stop-start and a nine-speed automatic. An all-wheel-drive system is available that can disconnect from the rear axle when the extra traction isn’t necessary as a way to boost fuel economy.
The new SUV is available in L, Blazer, RS, and Premier trim levels. All versions come standard with HID headlights, LED running lights, and heated mirrors. On the inside, there’s an eight-inch infotainment system that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto. For greater comfort, there’s dual-zone climate control and a sliding rear seat.
In addition, Buyers can also spec options like a panoramic dual-plane sunroof, a hitch-view camera for an easier time hooking up a trailer, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, rear camera mirror, and adaptive cruise control.
