2021 Renault Kiger – Classy, affordable compact SUV for India. Renault has unveiled the production-spec Kiger SUV.
Renault Kiger Launch: The sub-4m SUV is expected to go on sale in March.
Renault Kiger Price: It is expected to be priced from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Renault Kiger Seating Capacity: Renault will offer the Kiger in a 5-seater configuration.
Renault Kiger Powertrains: The SUV will be equipped with two petrol engines: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit (72PS/96Nm) or a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm). While the former will be offered with either a 5-speed MT or AMT gearbox, the latter will get the 5-speed MT along with a CVT option as well.
Renault Kiger Features: It will get an 8-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED headlamps, wireless charging, and push-button start/stop. Renault will also offer the SUV with auto climate control and a PM 2.5 air filter.
Renault Kiger Safety: Renault will equip the Kiger with dual front airbags as standard. Other safety features on offer will include ISOFIX child seat anchorages, hill start assist, and vehicle dynamic control.
Renault Kiger Rivals: Entering a crowded segment, Renault’s Kiger will lock horns with the Toyota Urban Cruiser, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Magnite
