The new E-Class is available with infotainment screens that span nearly the entire length of the dashboard, allowing owners to download and use apps including TikTok, and the Angry Birds game. Plus, the optional selfie and video camera allows Webex, and Zoom video conferencing.
Cars like the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class might not be able to give you the direct benefits one might expect from its hybrid powertrain. However, its usefulness must not be overlooked. The Mercedes E-Class uses its 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine supplemented with a 48-volt hybrid system to produce 255 horsepower and 396 lb-ft of torque. There is also a more potent 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 paired with the same 48-Volt hybrid system that is good for making 375 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid engine here is to support the gasoline engine to boost performance and offer slightly better fuel economy than what a single gasoline engine would be capable of. That said, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-class achieves a combined fuel economy of 24 MPG. As part of the midsize hybrid sedan, the Mercedes E-Class competes with the BMW 5 Series, the Audi A6, and the Genesis G80. It offers 6 trims, starting off at an estimated MSRP of $60,000.
