New 2023 Ford Ranger Stormtrak | Between Wildtrak & Raptor. A new version of the Ford Ranger has been released in Thailand, known as the Ranger Stormtrak. It sits between the Ranger Wildtrak and the high-performance Ranger Raptor, offering no extra performance over the former but including additional equipment that is visually striking.
The Stormtrak is equipped with the bi-turbo 2.0 litre EcoBlue turbodiesel engine, which generates 210 PS at 3,750 rpm and 500 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,000 rpm. It comes with a 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, which can transfer power to either the rear wheels (2WD) or a part-time 4×4 system with an electronic shift-on-the-fly system.
The Stormtrak builds upon the Wildtrak’s features and has a similar appearance from a distance. However, upon closer inspection, there are additional three-point LED lights on the grille wing, which are held in place by the C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The gloss black grille and its frame stretch down to the chin, and the word ‘Ranger’ is displayed on the bonnet.
