The redesigned-for-2022 Mercedes C-Class is a clear step up from its predecessor in almost every area. A strong and efficient engine and a helpful technology interface are among the car’s highlights. The redesign doesn’t gain as much ground on the competition as we were expecting, but overall we think it’s a smart pick for a small luxury sedan.
