New 2024 Skoda Enyaq Laurin & Klement / More Power, Range And Luxury. Skoda’s posh trim level, Laurin and Klement, has finally come to the Enyaq – featuring on both the regular SUV and sleeker Coupe SUV models.

If you’re a fan of Skoda then the chances are you’ve heard of Laurin and Klement. If not, it was the name of the company, founded by Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement, before the rebrand to Skoda Auto almost 100 years ago. More recently, the L&K badge has been applied to well-equipped, premium versions of Skoda’s larger models, bringing a luxurious flavour to the top of its model range.

As you’d expect, plenty of bespoke exterior and interior changes have come to the Skoda Enyaq L&K, plus there’s a revised powertrain for more potency and longer range. Skoda hasn’t said how much the new L&K versions will cost but traditionally they’ve been cheaper than the range-topping vRS performance versions.

The tweaked electric powertrain allows for 281bhp (up from 261bhp in the Enyaq 80), which can be sent to the rear-wheels only in L&K 85 guise or to all four wheels in the L&K 85x. Maximum range in the stands at 354 miles for the more aerodynamically efficient L&K Coupe model on the WLTP cycle – up from the 345 miles the regular Enyaq Coupe achieves. The four-wheel drive 85x Coupe tops out at 342 miles of range. Despite the extra range and power available, Skoda has kept the 10-80 per cent recharge time at under 30 minutes.

The L&K almost matches the sporty vRS in terms of acceleration, a 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds for the rear-wheel drive version and 6.6 for the four-wheel drive – the latter just 0.1 seconds off the vRS.

To set the L&K apart from the rest of the Enyaq range, there’s exclusive Platinum Grey detailing on the bumpers, rear diffuser and wing mirrors. Chrome appears on the window surrounds, the roof rails and the grille, which is offered with Skoda’s illuminated ‘Crystal Face’ LED feature. ‘L&K’ badging adorns the front wings, 20-inch rims are standard-fit with 21-inch sizes optional and as you’d expect, there are tinted windows to the rear.

The interior is full of premium touches including heated and ventilated front seats with massage functions. The upholstery can be specified in either beige or black leather and Skoda has also added aluminium pedals.

A new version of Skoda’s infotainment system arrives on the L&K – which will filter down to other Enyaq models. A new colour design has been added along with a revised structure of the menu. Drivers can now configure up to five time-saving shortcut controls for more frequently used functions such as Lane Assist or the heated windscreen. The integrated sat-nav has also been changed with Skoda saying it should make for a more intuitive experience.
