The refreshed RWD Model 3 equipped with 18-inch wheels boasts an estimated WLTP range of 344 miles (554 kilometers), while the LR variant offers an impressive 421 miles (678 km). This represents an approximately 11 to 12 percent increase compared to the current models’ WLTP range of 305 and 374 miles, respectively. Please note that the EPA ratings for the US version of the electric sedan will show significant variations.
Should you opt for the 19-inch “Nova” wheels, the RWD Model 3 will cover 319 miles (513 km) on a single charge according to the WLTP cycle, while the LR version achieves a rating of 391 miles (629 km). As for performance, it appears to remain consistent, with a 0-62 mile-per-hour time of 6.1 seconds for the RWD model and 4.4 seconds for the LR all-wheel-drive variant.
Regarding energy consumption, the new RWD version (equipped with 19-inch rims) utilizes 13.2 kilowatt hours for every 62 miles (100 km) on the European test cycle, while the LR version consumes 14.0 kWh for the same distance.
