NEW Lamborghini Revuelto V12 Hybrid Engine (Aventador’s successor). New 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto, V12 hybrid engine supercar to replace the Aventador.
The new Lamborghini Revuelto is the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with a V12 engine, and has an output of 1,015 horsepower. The car also features a double-clutch gearbox and three electric motors powered by a high specific power lithium-ion battery pack. The Revuelto boasts a new carbon frame concept, an innovative design, and maximum-efficiency aerodynamics. Lamborghini says the new vehicle offers sportiness, driving pleasure, and performance, while the quantum leap in car design remains constant to the exclusive Lamborghini design DNA.
The Revuelto has been inspired by previous V12 legends, and while the car delivers an all-new car design, both externally and internally, the inspiration of previous V12 legends is still clear. The naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 mid-mounted engine is complemented by three electric motors, one of which is integrated into the new double-clutch eight-speed gearbox. The car can also be turned into a purely electric vehicle, reducing overall CO2 emissions by 30% compared to the Aventador Ultimae. Lamborghini has been synonymous with V12 engines since the company was founded, with the Revuelto introducing an unprecedented hybrid architecture and a new generation of V12.
The new combustion system is also characterized by an increased compression ratio. Particular attention has been lavished on the ‘soundtrack’ of the new engine to emphasize the tone of the engine. The Revuelto also retains one of Lamborghini’s strongest traditions, four-wheel drive.
