NEW Renault ESPACE 6 revealed (2024) 7-Seater Hybrid SUV. The Renault Espace is a popular minivan in Europe that has been in production since 1984. The 4th-generation model, which was developed and built entirely by Renault, had a 13-year life cycle and was replaced by a more SUV-like model in 2015. The new 6th generation Renault Espace is a long-wheelbase version of the Austral compact SUV and is lighter and shorter than its predecessor.
The new Renault Espace 6 has a more spacious third row, and customers can choose between five or seven seats. The cargo area varies from 5.6 cubic feet to 64.2 cubic feet.
The new Espace VI is available with a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline engine as a full hybrid with a pair of electric motors, and has a more sophisticated multi-link rear suspension and rear-wheel steering. Renault claims that fuel consumption has been reduced by up to 40% compared to its predecessor, and it has CO2 emissions of 105 g/km.
The new Renault Espace will be available for order this spring 2023.
