The body color palette expands with Crystal Red and Whisper Blue, new alloy wheel choices are available and an optional Appearance Package helps give the Corsair some fighter jet style – or so Lincoln says.

On board, two new colors change the mood of the Corsair, Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red, the second comes with exclusive aluminum trim. A new available wall light reproduces the brand’s own starry light pattern and constellation effect.

The central screen is enlarged to 13.2 inches and the SYNC 4 multimedia system that powers it includes remote software updates. Do you like it more or less? Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is free for three years.

Power-assisted driving, one engine less

The 2023 Lincoln Corsair intends to push the relaxation behind the wheel to the maximum by offering the optional Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 hands-free driver assistance system. The latter, the equivalent of BlueCruise at Ford, can now perform lane changes automatically when the turn signal is activated and even suggest a lane change when traffic is slow. It also adapts speed when approaching a turn and repositions the Corsair in its lane to gently pull it away from other vehicles in adjacent lanes.

Other new features.

Intersection Assist 2.0 further contributes to avoiding a potential collision with a pedestrian, while the Blind Spot Assist system illuminates an additional warning light in the rearview mirror, then slams the steering wheel if the ‘we miss the first warnings.

As for the engines, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder still generates 250 horsepower, but the 2.3-liter producing 295 horsepower has been discontinued. As for the plug-in hybrid system of the Corsair Grand Tourisme, it provides a combined output of 266 horsepower with an electric range of 45 kilometers.

It is already possible to order a copy of the new 2023 Lincoln Corsair, although Canadian prices have not yet been announced. The company says deliveries will begin early next year.
