Mercedes Safety Center – E-Class (2017) CRASH TEST. Mercedes-Benz opens the world’s most modern Crash Test center in Sindelfingen with the new Vehicle Safety Technology Center. The new building, with its numerous test facilities, offers entirely new possibilities, for instance in vehicle vehicle tests, in the design of assistance systems and PRE-SAFE, and in the securing of vehicle concepts with alternative drives. Among other things, the Mercedes-Benz technology center will continue to be the driving force behind the global car industry in the future. The investment sum amounts to a three-digit million amount.
